Course Information

Course Description

This is a combination CPR/AED course for Non-Healthcare providers and . ​By the end of the course, student will be able to; ​

1. Heartsaver CPR/AED

   1. Assess to determine the need for CPR

   2. Provide CPR to adults, children, and infants

   3. Provide choking relief to adults, children, and infants

   4. Operate an AED

2. Heartsaver First Aid​

   1. Perform a proper scene assessment and basic patient assessment

   2. Know how to create a first aid kit

   3. Provide first aid for a number of medical, traumatic, and environment emergencies

   4. Properly use an Epi pen

   5. Perform proper bandaging technique

3-4 hours
